Mužlja – Zrenjanin

It was founded in 1890 on the estate near the treasury-owned Becskerek with families being settled from Szaján. The Szeged-born tobacco gardeners of Akács – which was founded by Bogdán Karácsony, but was put down later – also moved to Muzslya in 1891. In 1905 Muzslya separated from Nagybecskerek and became an independent village, then in 1981 it became part of the town again and today it is its 9^th district.
