Novo Miloševo
The settlement got its Hungarian name after a landowner named Beldora. It is first mentioned in 1331 on the basis of the surviving documents.
The first settlers after the expulsion of the Turks were Hungarians and Serbs from the area of Somogy, Akacs and Kerektó. Later, Bogdán Karátsonyi leased the Beodra manor from the treasury, and in 1781 more Hungarian Catholics and German settlers came to the region.
In 1805, Beodra gained the status of a market town, and by the end of the 19th century, it had become a large village with a railway station, a post office and a telegraph office, a savings bank, a brush factory and a cement factory.
